I LOVE the idea of tinted moisturizers. People usually use them to have a low coverage make-up on their skin. But, I thought they were for bronzing the skin. So, typically, I want one for a low coverage foundation. There are a lot of brands, the ones I’m looking to buy are the Sephora one, Shiseido and Stila. If I can find a drugstore one, then I will buy that one also. I’m looking for moisturizing properties and sheer coverage without any greasiness since I do have moderately, oily skin. I’ll probably have to put a transcluent powder to finish it, though. Anyway, I’ll update on the tinted moisturizer!

Dove’s Day Lotion for Sensitive Skin.. A Complete Bust!
March 23, 2008Hey my peoples! I’m going to be reviewing Dove’s day lotion for sensitive skin. I don’t have sensitive skin, just to point that out.

Let me start off by saying that I hate this product. First of all, they call it a “day” lotion, but it doesn’t have some sort of an SPF in it. It’s very important to protect your skin from the sun to prevent any wrinkles or skin cancer! Now, I have oily skin, and Dove claimed it was not greasy at all. I found that it was VERY greasy and oily. Also, I’m not too fond of the smell, either. I found that it made my skin create more oil (especially on my nose!). There is a bonus to this product, and that is, that it’s so gentle, you can use it on your eye area. This also lasts forever. I bought it in August and it’s March right now and there was still some in the bottle, but I got so sick of it that I threw it out. It probably would’ve lasted until the end of April. The bottle must have changed because mine doesn’t look like the one above. The blue circle is not there and the font in the blue circle doesn’t look like that, other than that, it’s pretty much the same. It also didn’t break me out (no product breaks me out, though). Not much else to say, but I hated this product, wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I give this a 1/5.

Neutrogena’s Oil-Free Acne Wash/Cream Cleanser, is it all it’s cracked up to be?
March 23, 2008So, today we are going to be taking a look at probably one of Neutrogena’s most well known product.. Their acne wash. They also have it in the cream form which I will also be reviewing.

So, let’s start off with the regular version. Now, I actually finished this months ago, but I will still be reviewing it. Let’s start off with, my skin type, I don’t have sensitive skin but it is oily. I was looking for a cleanser to kind of help me with the pimples I have been getting recently. Now take in mind, that I don’t have acne. Just some pimples. I’m not fond of this product because when I lathered it, it would go down my arms to my elbows and end up making them dry. When I put this on my face, and rinsed it off, it did not feel clean whatsoever, same with the Cream Cleanser but I will get to that later. I then put on my astringent/toner, and it took out all the dirt that my cleanser missed and I could tell that it did not clean at all! So there was no point, I should’ve just put on my toner. It did not help me with my pimples and I would give the product a 0/5 because you were not doing anything to your face.
The Cream Cleanser
I feel the same way about the cream cleanser. I didn’t have any problems with my elbows but it doesn’t clean at all. I found that this cleansed even less than the gel kind. So I would also give this a 0/5. I have to say I like gel cleansers better than cream.
Both didn’t dry my face at all probably because it didn’t take any dirt out anyway! So, I would not recommend this product. Just remember, everyone has different skin types, so I’m speaking on behalf of all the oilies out there!
